Our standout looks
Last week, the Men’s Fashion Week in Paris came to an end. Let’s decipher the male trends spotted for Spring-Summer 2024 and the team’s favorites. Transparency or glitter, modified proportions with very high waist at Loewe and very short shorts at Hermès, tailoring and femininity were the keywords of the Men’s Fashion Week SS24.
Atmosphere and scenography
As always, the scenography of fashion shows influences the perception of the clothes and reinforces the identity of each fashion house, led by the imagination of the artistic directors.
This season, some shows have made a lasting impression. Dior, under the creative direction of Kim Jones, presented a minimalist and futuristic runway where models emerged from the ground. Jacquemus opted for a historical setting at the Château de Versailles, where a 400-meter-long red carpet was laid out, and guests were transported in small boats. Louis Vuitton, with creative input from Pharrell Williams, delivered a grand and highly anticipated show, complete with a star-studded front row and a spectacle reminiscent of an American production.
Within the heart of matter
Transparency and shimmering are at the heart of the men’s wardrobe for summer 2024. At Dior, Kim Jones blends textures. Pearls and sequins are scattered on cardigans, alongside tweed and bouclé wool. Inventiveness and play with materials are always highlighted in Botter’s fashion shows, where this season the fully woven scoubidou look is a standout piece.
Street styles
During Fashion Week, looks are showcased not only on the runways but also in the streets. Let’s take a closer look at the street styles that the team noticed!
